What does joining the HCJ Project cost?
Standard members
For professionals e.g.
contemporary designers, gallery owners etc, who wish to become active members
there is no membership fee.
Standard members login and add their own content.
A standard active member is someone who maintains a self-representing
entry, contributes other
content occasionally and partakes in helping to shape the HCJ Project.
There is no minimum quota for adding content: we prefer quality rather than quantity.
NOTE: Site administration, e.g. responding to member
applications, adding members and manually changing user permissions
requires effort.
There is also effort needed on behalf
of the member: (e.g. logging in, editing and submitting content is not
for everyone). The HCJ platform is a full enterprise level content
management system, if you are used to simple wordpress installations
then you will have to invest some time to become comfortable with
adding your content.
Often choosing to become an assisted member will provide better value.
Tip: join the forums
first and ask questions! Within the member forums (an area inside the
public forums reserved for site members), is where membership
applications are voted on by the established membership: but the forums
are also where person to person support is offered to newbie members.
Assisted membership:
Many people, do not have the time (or inclination) to
login and
contribute the content they would like to have
available.
So we
offer "assisted-membership plans ", for members who
do not wish to take the "do-it-yourself" route and would rather have their content added for them.
Assisted members also receive:- A professionally presented page(s) with text, images, maps, links and contact details.
- Hosting of their article images.
- Additional content submition, e.g. their exhibitions, news and so forth.
- Assisted members are automatically "featured" in the first full calendar month following their initial registration.
Note: Payment does not buy membership... You should register first, choosing "assisted" as your membership type, then pay for your "assisted membership after your application has been approved.
