Embed HCJ Project content on your site
Art Jewelry Search Engine

Submit here, be seen everywhere...An artist should be able to spend most of their time creating, not promoting! One of the main principles of the HCJ Project is that we provide ways for content, submitted by members, to be re-used where ever and when ever possible. People who run a jewellery related site are able to offer their site visitors information about current regional exhibitions for example without having to add the information themselves (by embedding it!), This is an attractive proposition, which enhances their sites! On this page you can find... A number of solutions for offering selected HCJ Project content for integration and display on your site. Site members: submit here, be seen everywhere .... Feeds: Embed new artists, galleries, blog, exhibition or news feeds The HCJ Project content is available as a number of different RSS feeds, any of which can be used in a widget to show content on your site. Widget providers like widgetbox are useful because they allow people to customise the widget appearance to blend in with your blog or website theme. Note: We are currently working on a custom HCJ Project gadget (much like the tabbed gadget on the front page) which we will make available here soon. Search: Embed the art jewellery search on your site Search hundreds of jewellery resource, designer and gallery sites: search the wheat, without the chaff! The search engine is powered by Google: the index is maintained by the HCJ Project. Both the "new window" and the "in-line" versions search the same index. The search engine is ad supported. "new window" version : click here for an example Ajax "in-line" search box version Loading
To add the inline ajax search version use the code in the box below. Note: The add URL form is currently public: but we reserve the right to restrict the add URL form to site members only at some point in the future to control the quantity and quality of suggested URLs. Add URL suggestion form Calendars: Embed the exhibition or workshop & seminars calendar(s) There are a number of different calendars. these can be shown together (like the calendar here titled "Exhibitions & Shows" which is four geographically different calendars shown as one), or the standalone, like the "Workshops & seminars" example. The data is submitted by members and is generally linked to an accompanying "full article" on the HCJ Project. To change the size alter the "height" and "width" attributes. Select and copy the full code in the box below the calendar and paste it into your page where you would like the calendar to appear. For a specific area calendar, or different options please ask in the forums. |
