Board of directors
This site is a collective work: the result of many "site members" providing content.
Site members are also encouraged to join policy discussions in the "site members area" within the site forums.
This is where the "self-governing" aspect of the HCJ Project takes place, and where new applications are voted on by site members.

Suggestions and ideas which come out of these site member discussions are passed onto the board.

The board of directors:
  1. The board is made up of people who have demonstrated a "shared vision" for the future development of the project.
  2. Any site member standard or assisted is eligible for a place on the board based on merit.
  3. The board has the final say / vote on suggestions put forward by site members in the forums; and works out details of major changes in site structure, policy and direction. Only the board can demote or expel a site member.
  4. At this "embryonic" stage it is not yet decided how often the board will sit.
